Reverting Tachycardia (high heart beat)
with a Buteyko Breathing Course
What is tachycardia?
Tachycardia is a heart rate that is faster than normal.
Cause of tachycardia
Considering Buteyko theory, tachycardia happens when:
- You generally overbreathe throughout the day.
- Overbreathing leads to a lack of CO2 content in the blood and oxygen delivery by the blood.
- The heart starts pumping faster to compensate for the lower oxygen delivery.
How?
When you overbreathe, excessive exhalation of carbon dioxide leads to low carbon dioxide content of the blood and less effective oxygen delivery by the blood. To compensate, the body increases the heart rate to try to delivery more oxygen to cells than it would be able to at the normal heart rate. So tachycardia is one of the ways the body compensates for lowe oxygen delivery by the blood - to try to get more oxygen to cells.
Revert tachycardia with a Buteyko Breathing course
Within the period of a 1-month Buteyko Breathing Course, nearly all participants will experience a lowering of the heart rate. Our Buteyko Breathing course is an excellent and dependable way to help deliver more oxygen to cells and allow your heart to start beating at a slower rate. It can improve your health tremendously, lowering your heart beat back to normal levels as your breathing improves. Final results are dependent on:
- Severity of symptoms
- Students' compliance to instructions and guidance
- Students' level of practice (basic, intermediate or advanced)
- Frequency of support sessions for additional guidance
- Other factors (for example: age, general state of health, other diseases and activities.)
Good signs will be visible after 2 weeks, and optimal results will take about 1 month or more.
