With a Buteyko Breathing Course
What are allergies?
Allergies are abnormal adverse reactions of the immune system that occur in response to otherwise harmless substances.
Cause of allergies
Considering Buteyko theory, allergies occurs when:
Overbreathing is generally a bad habit as it creates a lack of CO2 in the blood. When you are in a state of low CO2, (1) your mast cells start producing more histamine than usual. Overbreathing also negatively affects enzyme's activities so (2) histamines and substances that promote histamine production are broken down less affectively. With these 2 important changes in your body, you can end up with too much histamines, creating an allergic reaction.
Revert allergies with a Buteyko Breathing course
Reverting allergies with a Buteyko Breathing course can be either a quick or slow process. Improving the breathing CO2 levels, your histamine-levels will drop and your allergic reactions will improve in certain predictable patterns. Doing a Buteyko Breathing course, good results can be attained within 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on complicating factors. Results are dependent on:
Doing both modules (1 and 2) of our Buteyko Breathing course, and keeping in touch with us over the course of your practice for additional guidance, students can experience solid results after 2 weeks to 3 months of advanced Buteyko practice, experiencing less symptoms and needing less medications.
